About the brand & the man
The brand. And the guy behind it.
Gay Massage NYC is the teacher: straight answers on massage for men, written in New York for guys everywhere. This page is the backstory.
The brand
Why Gay Massage NYC exists.
Most guys know how to push their bodies. Lift, run, sit at a desk for ten hours, repeat. Far fewer know what to do when they finally book a massage. What do I wear? Do I talk? Is it weird if I'm gay and my therapist isn't, or the other way round? So they search it at 2am and get half-answers, bad jokes or worse.
Gay Massage NYC is the fix. Clear guides, the rules of the table, an anonymous Ask box and real stories. Non-explicit, judgement-free and built for every guy: gay, straight or still figuring it out.
The site does the teaching. It doesn't book or sell massage sessions, and it never will.
The man
Meet Frederico.
Four years working only with men taught me one thing: guys want to understand massage. So I started educating.
I'm Frederico de Deus, a Brazilian certified massage therapist with four years of hands-on practice, all of it working only with men in New York City. I'm also a holistic therapist and a personal trainer.
Those four years showed me how much men want to learn about gay massage and massage for men. So I created Gay Massage NYC to do three things: demystify it, talk about it openly (no whispering), and help build better therapists for gay men and for men in general. Made in New York, open to the world.
What I'm building
- Gay Massage NYC: this site. The guides, the rules, Ask and Stories. This is where the educating happens.
- The Community: a moderated space for men to talk massage (2027).
- The Shop: wellness essentials (coming soon).
- Underwear: men's underwear (coming soon).
- For Everybody: a sister publication for adult readers, published separately (coming soon).
